The Building Regulations are made under powers provided in the Building Act 1984 & apply to England & Wales. They exist to ensure the health & safety of people in & around buildings & provide energy conservation

ISO 14001 - Environment Management Systems (EMS). Accreditation & operation to the standard will enhance a company’s competitive advantage, reputation & ensure operations in an environmentally friendly manner.


Provides financial incentives for the collection of post consumer PVC waste to the construction & demolition sectors. It is committed to advancing sustainable development by improving processes, minimising emissions & investing in recycling technology.

Green Guide Online

The Guide is a comprehensive directory of eco friendly goods, service, & companies. It grades products according to their environmental impact taking into account their lifecycle & costing.


The BFRC is dedicated to the operation of a UK national rating system for the thermal performance of fenestration products. The system uses the A-G grading currently found on ‘white’ goods & is rapidly becoming the standard rating for windows.

Secured by Design

Secured by Design is a Police initiative supporting the designing out of crime by using effective crime prevention & security standards for a range of applications. Products achieving Secured by Design must comply with BS7950 & PAS24.


Set up in response to the current Building Regulations for England & Wales; Fensa ensure all replacement windows & doors have a certificate of compliance, acting as an alternative to submission of a B.Reg.
